Volunteering with J100Coders stimulates the discovery of hidden talent, meet and interact with people from diverse backgrounds, strengthen your ties to your community, expose yourself to people with common interests and engage in fun and fulfilling activities.

J100CODERS Initiatives is seeking enthusiastic volunteers and interns with skills in the following areas to help us in training the next generation of coders:

Project fundraising
Grant writing
Marketing/promotion
Project monitoring and evaluation
Computer programming
Web development
Graphic design
Communication skills training

We are looking forward to working with enthusiastic and talented people who have the ability to think critically and analytically in order to bring about fantastic results in both the training of the children and also in increasing the reach of J100CODERS itself.

Requirements

Volunteers must be at least age 18 (no maximum age limit)
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
A strong commitment to the values and principles of volunteerism
An ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
An ability to train and interact with children
Strong support and advocacy for NGOs
You should be able to work independently as well as in teams when there is the need.
And have the ability to respect and abide by the rules of the placement activity.
