Apple's first tablet computer was the Newton MessagePad 100,[16][17] introduced in 1993, which led to the creation of the ARM6 processor core with Acorn Computers. Apple also developed a prototype PowerBook Duo-based tablet, the PenLite, but decided not to sell it in order to avoid hurting MessagePad sales.[18] Apple released several more Newton-based PDAs; the final one, the MessagePad 2100, was discontinued in 1998. Apple re-entered the mobile-computing markets in 2007 with the iPhone. Smaller than the iPad, but featuring a camera and mobile phone, it pioneered the multi-touch finger-sensitive touchscreen interface of Apple's iOS mobile operating system. By late 2009, the iPad's release had been rumored for several years. Such speculation mostly talked about "Apple's tablet"; specific names included iTablet and iSlate.[19] The iPad was announced on January 27, 2010, by Jobs at an Apple press conference at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.[20][21] He later said that Apple had begun developing the iPad before the iPhone,[22][23] but had temporarily shelved the effort upon realizing that its ideas would work just as well in a mobile phone.[24] The iPad's internal codename was K48, which was revealed in the court case surrounding leaking of iPad information before launch.[25] Apple began taking pre-orders for the first-generation iPad from American customers on March 12, 2010.[3] The only major change to the device between its announcement and being available to pre-order was the change of the behavior of the side switch from sound muting to that of a screen rotation lock.[26] The Wi-Fi version of the iPad went on sale in the United States on April 3, 2010.[3][27] The Wi-Fi + 3G version was released on April 30.[3][4][4] 3G service in the United States is provided by AT&T and was initially sold with two prepaid contract-free data plan options: one for unlimited data and the other for 250 MB per month at half the price.[28][29] On June 2, 2010, AT&T announced that effective June 7 the unlimited plan would be replaced for new customers with a 2 GB plan at slightly lower cost; existing customers would have the option to keep the unlimited plan.[30] The plans are activated on the iPad itself and can be canceled at any time.[31] The iPad was initially only available online at the Apple Store as well as the company's retail locations, but has since become available for purchase through retailers including Amazon, Walmart, and network operators. The iPad was launched in countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom on May 28.[32][33] Online pre-orders in those countries began on May 10.[4] Apple released the iPad in Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand and Singapore on July 23, 2010.[34][35][36] Israel briefly prohibited importation of the iPad because of concerns that its Wi-Fi might interfere with other devices.[37] On September 17, 2010, the iPad was officially launched in China.[38] 300,000 iPads were sold on their first day of availability.[39] By May 3, 2010, Apple had sold a million iPads,[40] this was in half the time it took Apple to sell the same number of first generation iPhones.[41] After passing the one million mark they continued selling rapidly reaching 3 million sales after 80 days.[42] During the October 18, 2010, Financial Conference Call, Steve Jobs announced that Apple had sold more iPads than Macs for the fiscal quarter.[43] In total, Apple sold more than 15 million first-generation iPads prior to the launch of the iPad 2.[44] — selling more than all other tablet PCs combined since the iPad's release.[45] and reaching 75% of tablet PC sales at the end of 2010.[46] Jobs unveiled the iPad 2 at a March 2, 2011, press conference.[47][48] About 33% thinner than its predecessor and 15% lighter, the iPad 2 has a better processor, a dual core Apple A5 that Apple says is twice as fast as its predecessor for CPU operations and up to nine times as fast for GPU operations. The iPad 2 includes front and back cameras that support the FaceTime videophone application, as well as a three-axis gyroscope. It retained the original's 10-hour battery life and had a similar pricing scheme. The successor to the iPad 2 was unveiled on March 7, 2012 by Apple CEO Tim Cook at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.[49][50] The new iPad sports the new dual core A5X processor with quad-core graphics, and a Retina Display with a resolution of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels[51] this is over 50 percent more pixels than a standard 1,920 by 1,080 high definition TV screen. As with previous iPads, there are two models, in this case a Wi-Fi only model and a Wi-Fi + Cellular model.[51] On October 23, 2012, Apple announced the fourth generation iPad, which began shipping on November 2, 2012. The new hardware includes an A6X processor, HD FaceTime camera, improved LTE compatibility, and the all-digital Lightning connector. It is available in the same storage increments and pricing structure as the third generation.[52][53] Following the announcement of the fourth-generation iPad, the previous generation was discontinued. Alongside the launch of the 4th generation hardware, Apple announced the iPad Mini. With a screen measuring 7.9 inches, it is aimed at the emerging sector of smaller tablets such as the Kindle Fire and Nexus 7. The hardware of the new iPad Mini is similar to the iPad 2, with a 1024 by 768 pixel resolution screen and a dual core A5 processor, but is 53% lighter and 7.2mm thick. It was released on November 2, in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities and WiFi or Wi-Fi + Cellular versions.[53]

Brady (Ross Lynch) and McKenzie "Mack" (Maia Mitchell), are high school sweethearts enjoying their time together surfing at the beach. Each time Brady mentions their best summer never ending, Mack looks guilty as if she is hiding something from him but he doesn't notice it. After coming back inside McKenzie's grandfather's hut, McKenzie sees that Brady is a fan of the film "Wet Side Story", a film set during the 1960s. In the film, bikers and surfers battle for which gang gets the privilege to hang out at Big Momma's, a local diner and hangout. Mack, however, does not like such shows, viewing it as silly and illogical (as in the characters start singing about things for no reason and when they go in the water their hair never gets wet). Brady later learns that Mack made a promise to her aunt that after her mother died she would attend a private school and they were to leave the next day. Brady is annoyed Mack never told him about this (which she regrets) and is very sad she will be leaving. Mack asserts that although going is her choice, she feels it is what she has to do, since it's what her mom would want. She sadly informs Brady that they will have to break up since when she leaves they will be unable to maintain their relationship. As Mack packs up to leave, she then decides to go and surf a few hours before the flight, as that day the 40-foot wave is going to hit the beach. Seeing that the waves are becoming too strong, Brady gets on a jet ski and goes after Mack, who is still in the ocean. When Mack tries to ride a fairly big wave, she falls off her board and submerges and Brady jumps into the ocean after her. The two are swept away and when they end up on another beach they find out they've been swept inside the movie "Wet Side Story". They watch as the real movie cast perform "Surf Crazy", which Brady at one point joins, though Mack is just frazzled. Brady sees their situation as an opportunity to have fun but Mack finds it the opposite. Brady tells her there will be a storm and giant wave that could probably bring them back home at the end of the movie but Mack is reluctant to wait for it. They go into Big Momma's, the movie's diner and hangout and introduce themselves to the surfers just before the bikers appear and start the surf and turf war. The bikers perform a musical number, "Cruisin' for a Bruisin", which Brady actually joins in on after putting on a biker jacket. Afterwards Mack and Brady's clothing are suddenly changed to fit the movie and Mack's surfboard appears nearby them. That evening during a dance in Big Momma's where Lela (Grace Phipps) is singing "Falling for Ya", Mack and Brady argue about staying or trying to find a way out and Mack decides to investigate on her own. However, they suddenly change the movie when the movie's lead man, Tanner (Garrett Clayton), falls in love with Mack after she bumps into him and Brady catches the lead girl, Lela when she falls off the stage. This interferes with the movie's plot, in which Lela falls into Tanner's arms, not Brady's and thus another feud between the bikers and surfers would start. Brady and Mack decide to make Tanner and Lela fall in love to fix things. Brady also tells Mack about the villains of the film, Les Camembert (Steve Valentine) and Dr. Fusion (Kevin Chamberlin), who are going to try to affect the weather to make the surfers and bikers leave so they can control Big Momma's and turn it into a beach resort. Brady, Mack, Tanner and Lela take part in a musical number, "Meant to Be", where Lela and Tanner express their love for Brady and Mack, while Mack and Brady subtly suggest to them that there may be someone else they are really meant to be with. This however doesn't work, so Mack and Brady decide to split up to convince Lela and Tanner to be with each other. That night Mack joins Lela and the other biker girls for a slumber party, while Brady hangs out with Tanner and the surfer boys at Big Momma's. Lela tells Mack that she actually would like to surf and Mack persuades her to do it despite surfing being something that Lela shouldn't do as a biker. While talking about love and the opposite gender, Mack and Brady's modern relationship views conflict with the 60's views, which leads to the song, "Like Me". The next morning Mack and Brady meet and discuss how they are not having any success. Mack and Brady each have Lela and Tanner walk down the beach in opposite directions, though Mack suddenly notices waves vanishing and goes to talk to Brady. However, Les' plan isn't their only concern as they realize they are morphing into the movie when Mack falls into shallow water her hair does not get wet and then suddenly they are forced to perform a song, "Can't Stop Singing". After the song Mack and Brady are captured by Les Camembert and Dr. Fusion and taken to the villains' lighthouse lair. Lela and Tanner fall in love with each other while waiting for Mack and Brady and sing a reprise of "Meant to Be". They soon realize that their friends have been kidnapped by Les and Dr. Fusion. They go to Big Momma's and convince the bikers and surfers to team up and save Mack and Brady. Meanwhile at the lighthouse, Mack and Brady talk about their experience in the movie and Mack finally admits that she is glad that she came and is spending more time with Brady. She says that she really doesn't want to go to college but she felt it was what she was "supposed to do". Mack realizes that it is similar to her telling Lela to surf despite what she is supposed to do and Mack concludes that Lela is braver than her. Brady denies that, saying that Mack is the bravest girl he knows. The surfers and Bikers then come into the lair, free Mack and Brady and destroy the machine that the villains made. The movie's plot returns to normal and Mack and Brady realize they are able to return home when they magically are wearing their old clothes again. After saying goodbye to everyone, Mack and Brady get on the surfboard and ride a wave, which submerges them and sends them back to the real world, where they see that no time has passed since they left. The 40-foot wave Mack was looking forward to is still about to approach her too. Brady allows Mack to surf the giant wave and she successfully does and safely returns to shore. Her aunt appears, upset about Mack delaying their flight but Mack decides to spend the rest of the year on the beach with Brady, seeing that following her heart would still make her mother happy, even though she originally thought going to college was the right thing to do. Her aunt accepts her decision and everyone on the beach participates in one last musical number along with the other teens on the beach, "Surf's Up". In a post-credits scene, it shows that Lela, Tanner and the other bikers and surfers have been washed up into the real world. A modern day surfer thinks they're lost and allows them to use his cell phone, which they marvel at as they

A balloon's properties, including its low density and low cost, have led to a wide range of applications. The rubber balloon was invented by Michael Faraday in 1824, during the course of experiments with various gases.

Allie Pennington, the daughter of two medieval literature scholars, transfers to Avalon High and becomes involved in a prophesied re-staging of Arthurian legend. Moving to a new school Allie meets various new people who she later discovers are the reincarnations of figures from the legendary Camelot. She befriends two boys: Will, a quarterback and most likely the reincarnation of Arthur, and Miles, who has psychic flashes and is most likely the reincarnation of Merlin. A third boy, Marco - Will's evil stepbrother, whom Allie believes is the reincarnation of Mordred and determined to kill Arthur (Will)--which would send the world into another dark age. As Allie gets closer to her classmates, she starts to experience visions of King Arthur and becomes better friends with Will. She starts to suspects that the legend of the prophecy is true. She discovers at a party that Jennifer and Lance are having an affair behind Will's back. She fears that if Will found out he would suffer the same fate as King Arthur and meet his downfall, while her own feelings for Will start to grow. Together, Miles and Allie discover the day King Arthur is prophesied to return. Will suffers from moral blows both in school and at practice that shake his confidence before the big game, on which Will has to win in order to gain a scholarship to please his overbearing father. Allie tries to tell Will about Jennifer and Lance's affair but is constantly interrupted, so she enlists the help of Mr. Moore to protect Will. On the night of the game Will arrives early to school and sees Jennifer and Lance together and takes off; Allie and Marco give chase. Finding Will at the forest where they had previously spent time together, she tells him that he is King Arthur but he takes it as a metaphor and is inspired to return to the game. Allie and Miles then attend the game and watch as Will returns to the game as the prophesied eclipse and meteor shower takes place. At half time Lance apologizes to Will for the affair but Will instead gives his blessing for Lance and Jennifer to be together, forgives them both and then asks to meet Allie after the game. Will then disappears from the game and Allie and Miles go in search and for the first time, Miles uses his psychic power at will to find him. Going to the school theatre they find an injured Marco outside and Will inside the theatre, again Allie tells him the truth of his identity. Mr. Moore arrives and reveals that he is really Mordred, and that Marco was really a member of the Order of the Bear who was sworn to protect Arthur and had been trying to gain Mr. Moore's trust. He then attacks the group. Allie grabs a prop sword to stop Mr. Moore but the sword transforms into Excalibur, revealing that she is the real reincarnation of King Arthur. Mr. Moore and Allie duel in an alternative reality, where Will, Marco, Miles (Merlin), Lance (Lancelot) are also present and fighting. Allie wins with the help of Merlin and defeats Mordred. Back in the theatre they are able to escape and Mr. Moore is detained. Will then returns to the game and promises to talk with Allie after the game, which he proceeds to win. Miles now embraces his powers and becomes more social as a result. At the end of the game Will kisses Allie and they leave the game together hand in hand. The movie closes with all the characters gathered together at the round table dressed as their legendary counterparts.

The rose is a woody perennial of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae. There are over 100 species. Amber Pollock, a mean, snobbish, virgin and popular high school senior, dies after being named Prom Queen at her senior prom when her crown ends up electrified after an accident with her boyfriends car. While in Limbo, an angel named Supervisor J-3 gives her the task of returning to her high school as a ghost to arrange that the school's least-popular student Lisa Sommers becomes Prom Queen in her place within one week at the makeup prom. When Lisa becomes Prom Queen, Supervisor J-3 will have Amber forgiven of her past actions and send her to Heaven. Supervisor J-3 also tells Amber that if Lisa doesn't become Prom Queen by the deadline, Amber will be on the next shuttle bus to Hell. Things do not go as planned because at first, Lisa doesn't want to be crowned Prom Queen. After Amber convinces Lisa that she can get her attention from her crush, Nick Ramsey, Amber insists they should go shopping to get Lisa some new outfits for school and the prom. Their plans for Lisa running for Prom Queen becomes complicated as Amber's former friend, Carlita Cache, decides to run and starts dating Nick. When Carlita decides to throw a house party, Amber and Lisa decide to mess with Carlita's plan by changing the party's date and sending this change in an email from a school computer to everyone's phone at their high school. With Carlita's party plans ruined, Amber and Lisa plan a party at Lisa's house the same night since her parents are away at a spa treatment. During the party, Amber gets Lisa up on stage to sing "Typical" which attracts the attention of Nick. Lisa and Nick talk after her performance and the two end up sharing an unexpected kiss and Nick then tells her he will break it off with Carlita. Amber and Lisa soon find out from Vice-Principal Richardson that Lisa's friend, Raj Kurkuri, who was trying to buy a used calculator online, accidentally forgot to log off on a school computer before Lisa sent the changed party date message, and Raj is held responsible for the damages at Carlita's house. Lisa ends up passing on her friends' plans for finishing a claymation pig film now that she is popular. Meanwhile, Amber's sister Clementine feels her mother is too busy mourning the death of Amber to pay any attention to her. Seeing this for herself, Amber helps guide her mother into paying more attention to Clementine now that she has died. Lisa's friend Selena learns about Amber's involvement with Lisa's popularity and decides to use black magic to tell Amber to leave Lisa alone, but Amber tells her she needs to right what she did wrong in order to get into Heaven. Selena is understanding but still pleads for Amber to help Lisa return to normal. Amber confronts Lisa and, realizing that she has unintentionally ruined her life by making her popular, jumps into her body to drive her out to Oak Springs on Highway 7 (out in the middle of nowhere) so she would not make it back to town in time for the prom that evening. After stumbling onto Floyd's Gator Jerky Shop, and calls all her friends on a pay phone, Lisa is unsuccessful in getting a ride back into town until she reaches Selena. When Selena (along with Raj and Collin) make it to pick her up, Lisa learns being popular isn't what it is cracked up to be. She also learns Raj was suspended and has to perform community service to fix Carlita's yard. Meanwhile, Amber reports her failure to Supervisor J-3 and takes a ride down to Hell in a flaming prison shuttle bus. After just making it to prom night, Lisa confesses to her vice principal and the rest of the school that it was her that sent the mass email about the change to Carlita's party, not Raj. She then makes a speech on stage that everyone should break down the barriers between the popular and unpopular by voting Raj as Prom King which almost all of the students agree upon. After Raj is elected Prom King, Amber is transported off the shuttle bus to Hell to get her wings to enter Heaven as the least popular student was voted Prom King. She appears to Lisa one last time and the two share a hug with Amber promising to watch over Lisa from Heaven before she goes. Carlita (angry that she didn't get crowned Prom Queen) tries to stop the music by pulling wires from the stage's control box electrocuting herself in the process. Then Supervisor J-3's voice can be heard saying "Here we go again."
